Porsche has announced the release of the 911 Spirit 70, a limited-production model commemorating design elements from the 1970s and early 1980s. This is the third model in the brand’s Heritage Design series, following the 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition and the 911 Sport Classic. Global production is capped at 1,500 units.
The 911 Spirit 70 is based on the 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet with rear-wheel drive. It includes the same standard features found in the 911 GTS models, such as a high-voltage electrical system, eTurbo, electric motor, and a 3.6-liter flat-six engine. The combined system output is 532 horsepower and 449 lb.-ft. of torque.
Visually, the model features a new exterior paint color, Olive Neo. It is paired with 20-inch front and 21-inch rear center-locking Sport Classic wheels with Bronzite accents. A black cabriolet top and windshield frame contrast with the body color. The exterior also includes three decorative hood stripes with “911” lettering, optional side graphics, and a satin black Lollipop motif referencing historic Porsche motorsport liveries. Buyers can opt to omit these graphics.
Several heritage-themed design cues are present. The hood features a version of the Porsche crest similar to that used in 1963. Additional details include gold-plated “Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur” fender badges and a Porsche Heritage badge on the rear engine grille. Gold-plated Porsche and model designations are also present at the rear.
Interior appointments continue the heritage theme. The seat centers and various trim elements are upholstered in a Pasha pattern combining black and Olive Neo. The pattern, made from textile and flock yarn, is used on the 18-way Sport Seats Plus, door inserts, glove compartment lining, and as trim in the dashboard and seat backrests. A reversible front trunk mat in the same Pasha pattern is standard. The remaining interior is finished in Basalt Black Club leather with Olive Neo deviated stitching.
Instrumentation combines historical design with modern technology. A 12.65-inch digital instrument cluster features analog-style white pointers and scale lines, with green digits. The Sport Chrono stopwatch follows the same visual approach.
Customers who purchase the 911 Spirit 70 will have exclusive access to a matching Porsche Design chronograph. The watch includes styling details such as a black Pasha dial pattern consistent with the vehicle’s interior theme.
Deliveries in the United States are expected to begin in late summer 2025. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price is $240,000, with an additional $2,250 for delivery, processing, and handling. The listed price does not include taxes, registration, dealer charges, optional equipment, or tariffs.
