Lotus has announced a limited-edition version of the Emira sports car, called the Emira Clark Edition. The vehicle has been developed in partnership with the Jim Clark Trust and will be limited to 60 units, available only in select markets. Its global debut is scheduled for the 2025 Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix.
The Emira Clark Edition is based on the existing Emira V6, which features a 3.5-litre supercharged engine producing 400 horsepower. It comes with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The edition includes the Lotus Driver’s Pack, which adds sport suspension, Track Mode, and an updated exhaust system.
The design of the vehicle draws inspiration from the Team Lotus race cars of 1965, the year Jim Clark won both the Formula 1 World Championship and the Indianapolis 500. The exterior is painted in Clark Racing Green and features a black roof, silver mirrors, and a yellow stripe that references the design of the Lotus Type 38. Additional design elements include a blue-centred aluminium fuel cap, yellow exhaust tips, and Clark Edition branding on the doors.
Interior details include asymmetrically trimmed sports seats with red leather and Alcantara® for the driver’s seat and black leather and Alcantara® for the passenger seat. A wooden gear knob and commemorative Jim Clark badging are included, featuring Clark’s personal tartan. The interior also includes a Jim Clark signature on the dashboard and Team Lotus seat details.
Each of the 60 units will feature numbered carbon fibre treadplates. Customers will also receive a leather holdall with Clark Edition detailing.
The price of the Emira Clark Edition is set at £115,000 in the UK and €140,000 in Germany.
