Aston Martin has announced the DB12 Goldfinger Edition, developed by its bespoke personalization service, Q by Aston Martin, to celebrate 60 years of association with the James Bond film franchise. This partnership began in 1964 with the release of “Goldfinger,” where the Aston Martin DB5 made its cinematic debut.

Limited to 60 units worldwide, the DB12 Goldfinger Edition pays homage to the iconic DB5 with a Silver Birch paint finish. The car features 21-inch multi-spoke wheels in a unique silver color with a diamond treatment finish, black brake calipers, bespoke gold side strakes, and a distinctive Aston Martin logo in silver with black enamel. A bright chrome ‘Q’ badge on the fender signifies its special edition status.

The interior showcases leather Sports Plus seats styled after the classic DB5, featuring a fluted design and a Prince of Wales check perforation pattern, referencing a traditional James Bond suit. This pattern extends to the door inserts and headliner. Gold-plated interior accents adorn the drive mode rotary dial, roller controls, and a gear selector inspired by the golden tracking device from the film. An embroidered ‘eight of hearts’ on the driver’s sun visor nods to a playing card seen in “Goldfinger.”

Owners of the DB12 Goldfinger Edition will receive exclusive gifts, including a custom car cover, a luxury key presentation box, a Silver Birch Speedform model, and a section of the Furka Pass scene from the film in 35mm format. These items are presented in a Globe-Trotter attaché case mirroring the car’s design. Additionally, owners receive a magnum of 2007 vintage Champagne Bollinger with four exclusive glasses, presented in a bespoke Globe-Trotter Air Cabin Case.

The vehicle is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine, delivering 680 PS and 800 Nm of torque. It features an advanced suspension system and a new infotainment system developed in-house by Aston Martin. The Goldfinger Edition comes standard with the Bowers & Wilkins halo audio system.

Marco Mattiacci, Global Chief Brand and Commercial Officer, stated that the special edition honors the long-standing relationship with the James Bond franchise and the iconic status of the original DB5. First deliveries of the DB12 Goldfinger Edition are scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2025.
