Aston Martin has introduced the latest iteration of its Vanquish, marking the return of one of the brand’s most recognized nameplates. This new version is positioned at the top of Aston Martin’s front-engine sports car lineup, featuring advanced engineering and design elements. The Vanquish is powered by a 5.2-litre Twin-Turbo V12 engine producing 835PS and 1000Nm of torque. It also achieves a top speed of 214 mph, making it the fastest production car from Aston Martin.
The development of this engine includes several enhancements such as strengthened internal components and optimized combustion for both performance and emissions compliance. New turbochargers and fuel injectors contribute to improved throttle response, while a new Boost Reserve function is designed to enhance power delivery during dynamic driving and overtaking.
Vanquish features an all-new chassis design built around a bonded aluminum body structure. This chassis includes advanced suspension systems and is 75% stiffer than the previous flagship model, the DBS 770 Ultimate. The suspension uses Bilstein DTX dampers, which allow for a wide range of adjustments between different driving modes, enhancing both ride comfort and performance. The car also comes equipped with an electronic rear limited slip differential (e-diff), which works in conjunction with the latest electronic stability control system to improve handling and stability.
The braking system uses carbon ceramic brakes with 410mm discs at the front and 360mm discs at the rear. This system reduces unsprung weight and provides improved braking performance. The Vanquish also features Pirelli P ZERO tires, developed specifically for the model, and available in both summer and winter variants.
In terms of design, the Vanquish has a lengthened wheelbase for a more dynamic profile, inspired by the brand’s motorsport heritage. The car features a Panoramic glass roof and other distinctive elements like a large front grille and LED headlights with integrated Daytime Running Lights (DRLs). The rear of the car includes a full-width diffuser and a new stainless steel exhaust system.
The interior of the Vanquish is crafted to deliver both luxury and driver-focused functionality. It includes a lowered center console, a 10.25” touchscreen with online connectivity, and a fully digital 10.25” driver display. The infotainment system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and is integrated with the new Aston Martin mobile app, allowing remote interaction with the vehicle.
Aston Martin’s Vanquish is available to order now, with first deliveries expected in the fourth quarter of 2024.
