Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. announced that it will display its G700 business jet at the upcoming Middle East and North Africa Business Aviation Association (MEBAA) Show, scheduled for December 10 to 12 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The G700, which entered service in April, is currently in operation worldwide and has set over 65 city-pair speed records. The aircraft is designed with a large cabin that can be configured to include up to five living areas. It has the capacity to seat up to 19 passengers and accommodate up to 13 sleeping passengers.
The cabin features include an extended galley with over 10 feet (approximately 3 meters) of counter space, as well as Gulfstream’s air circulation system, which provides 100% fresh air. Other cabin specifications include low cabin noise levels, increased natural light through large windows, and a cabin altitude of 2,840 feet (866 meters) when flying at 41,000 feet (12,497 meters).
The G700 has a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.935, making it the fastest aircraft in the Gulfstream fleet. It is capable of flying routes such as Dubai to New York at Mach 0.87 without refueling.
The aircraft is equipped with the Symmetry Flight Deck, which includes active control sidesticks, a Data Concentration Network, and multiple touch-screen displays. It also features the Predictive Landing Performance System and a dual head-up display that integrates the Enhanced Flight Vision System and Synthetic Vision System into one image, with the stated goal of improving pilot awareness and airport accessibility.
Visitors to the MEBAA Show can view the G700 on display and meet Gulfstream representatives at stands A13 and A14.
