Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation has delivered its 300th aircraft from the G500 and G600 fleet. This milestone reflects sustained customer interest in both models since their respective entries into service.

The G500 and G600 are equipped with the Gulfstream Symmetry Flight Deck, which includes active control sidesticks and touchscreen technology. The design also incorporates Phase-of-Flight intelligence. These systems were developed to support production efficiencies and have since been extended to the G700, G800, and G400 models.

Mark Burns, president of Gulfstream, stated that the achievement was supported by continued investment from Gulfstream’s parent company, General Dynamics. He indicated that the efficiencies achieved in this program have contributed to the expansion of Gulfstream’s production capabilities.

In June, both the G500 and G600 exceeded 100,000 combined flight hours. Over the past year, each aircraft also received certification from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration for steep-approach operations, allowing access to more airports.

The G500 has a range of 5,300 nautical miles at Mach 0.85 and 4,500 nautical miles at Mach 0.90. The G600 offers a range of 6,600 nautical miles at Mach 0.85 and 5,600 nautical miles at Mach 0.90. Both aircraft have a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.925.

Cabin features in the G500 and G600 include 100% fresh air, low cabin altitude, low noise levels, and natural lighting from 14 oval windows. The cabin layout supports seating for up to 19 passengers.
